AMD tillsammans med Microsoft har handblockat några bloggare och gett dem varsin dator i julklapp. Förinstallerade och klara med nya Windows Vista.

“Microsoft together with AMD gave out some really nice Christmas presents to a bunch of bloggers this year. … They seem to have covered everyone from A-list to Z-list, a first in the industry with such a valuable gift, kudos for thinking about the little guys.”

Egentligen är det PR-firman Edelman som har handplockat bloggarna:

“Speaking of which, on December 20th I received an email from Edelman, the PR firm who is handling the launch of Windows Vista, letting me know that Microsoft is sending me a present in the form of a laptop with Windows Vista installed on it, no strings attached.”

Microsoft berättar lite om saken i en kommentar på den första bloggen i inlägget här ovanför.

Kanske var det inte Edelman ändå…

“This email came from a Microsoft employee, not Edelman, so I don’t have any reason to believe Edelman was involved. … The only scandal would be in a blogger who received a computer decides to keep it and then writes about Vista in a positive way and doesn’t disclose the situation. Otherwise, there isn’t much of an issue.”

Och kanske vill Microsoft ha tillbaka sina apparater…
